Welcome to Cento Ristorante, a premiere Italian restaurant in downtown Madison, where we combine Old World Italian traditions with modern techniques. We source quality ingredients– locally, and from Italy– to create classic and innovative dishes that let these products shine.
Translating to “100” in Italian, the significance behind Cento’s name (pronounced Chento), lies in our location – the bustling 100 block of downtown Madison, on the corner of Mifflin and Fairchild. Located directly across the street from the architecturally modern Overture Center for the Arts, and one block from the State Capitol, Cento is the perfect downtown destination for great food, wine and service in an elegant setting.

Enjoy five courses crafted by Executive Chef Edwin Ramirez, from amusing tuna tartare and beef carpaccio, to choices of classic pastas, ratatouille, ribeye, and more. Toast the New Year with high-end bubbly and five course wine pairings available for pre-order (in addition to the prix fixe price).

$150 deposit per person is required when making your reservation. Cancellations at least 48 hours prior to reservation time will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours of reservation time will forfeit 100% of the deposit. Please note any dietary restrictions when making your reservation.

The building was built in 1908 and still features the original stained glass, brick, and mosaic tiles, providing for a beautiful and unique atmosphere. Located just steps from State Street and Capitol Square, Cento is the perfect location in downtown Madison.
